Craig Carry is a Cork based graphic designer and artist. Craig’s work has most often been seen in the context of music: contributing designs and artwork for music webzine Fractured Air and creating artwork for record labels such as Ergodos and Glassnote Records; musicians such as Sean Mac Erlaine and Caoimhin O Raghallaigh and various arts and music festivals including Bottlenote Festival and Cork Film Festival. Craig works across a range of media spanning both traditional and digital means including vector, pencil, collage and paint. Craig’s exhibition presented at Filter Cafe, entitled “Slender Songs” (named after Sean Mac Erlaine’s ‘A slender song’ album), will feature new works created in response to the festival programme which will comprise a series of limited edition prints based upon a selection of the musicians taking part at Sounds From A Safe Harbour festival. We have also had the privilege of working with Craig on this years festival as designer of the signature ‘ship at sea’ artwork to be found on the front of our brochures and on our website.
